Pec Deck vs Crossover vs Cable Flyes

So I had to give up pressing about a year ago-shoulder arthritis and a tear. Shoulders are a little crunchy but completely manageable with strengthening and mobility and no pressing.

I went to pec deck with high volume. However, I’ve recently read that standing crossover is safer than lying flyes or the pec deck.

Standing crossovers bother my shoulders at least during the exercise much more so I haven’t even tried lying cable-but lying DB also aggravates during the motion.

Is it dumb for me to stick to pec deck since it doesn’t bother me or is it smarter long term to follow some of the articles and posts?

This one’s pretty easy. Stick to the exercise that doesn’t bother your shoulders, and avoid the ones that do.
