Peanut Butter/Almond Butter

Does anyone else have an addiction to this stuff? I can't keep it around without putting it down by the jar. Love to use it as a dip for fresh veggies or as spread on a lettuce wrap. This is my only dietary vice. How will eating a jar or two as my sunday cheat impact my progress and digestion?

What is your favorite way to eat peanut butter/almond butter

Open Jar, make sure Dog is out of reach, eat.

"How will eating a jar or two as my sunday cheat impact my progress and digestion?"

Well, you should have a strong stomach considering eating an entire jar of natural peanut butter supplies 2,940 calories!

That's really more than a cheat meal; it's more like over indulgence unless you plan on eating little else that day or you're just a really muscular and/or active person.

So how can it affect progress? Most likely negatively, unless you're one of the few who can get away with that sort of indulgence or don't mind excess weight gain.

I like almond butter better mixed into full fat or 2% yogurt.

Greek yogurt that is.

Yeah, I agree with Brick and Stu on the pb stuff. I used to buy a jar every week, vow to only eat 1 or 2 tbsp at the allotted time, in a shake - then halfway through the week I'd wake up in the middle of the night, in my underwear, and stand at the fridge while proceeding to bitchslap the rest of the jar! Now, I just don't buy it - it's too good! It's gotta be the best stuff on earth!

When I was moving out of an old apartment, on my last day there, the only food item left was a full jar of peanut butter.

Problem solved.

I dip my bananas in Natty PB.

Derrrrrricious and nutritious.

Almond butter so good. I almost want to change my username because of it, from PB Andy to AB Andy. Even though PB doesn't stand for peanut butter. :stuck_out_tongue:

Almond butter, greek yogurt, banana, chocolate Metabolic Drive is where it's at!

Almond Butter is only okay. PB is 10x tastier

I reside on the almond butter side of the aisle.
