PB Protein?

I just read “Battle of the Proteins” and learned that the basic types of protein are whey, casein, meat, and soy. What type of protein does peanut butter fall under?

Thanks,

Josh

What happened to egg?

what about milk protein isolate?

Peanuts are legumes. They are an incomplete protein, which I think are deficient in the amino acid methionine.

what about milk protein isolate?

This is from John Berardi:

“Since milk protein isolates contain 80% casein, often people will use the terms milk protein isolate and casein interchangeably.”

Peanuts are an incomplete protein but eating them with a complete protein, i.e. in a shake, would be best.
