I’ve noticed as a habit that I pause at the between each rep for maybe 1/4 second as a matter of habit. I’m not using the so called “peak contraction principle” or anything. I use to conciously keep tension on the worked muscle by having no pause, but I think I stopped doing it because of lactic acid build up… now my failure comes from muscle fatigue rather than lactic acid build-up. I’d think that’s good. Any comments about slight rests between sets?
