Pasta Sauce

Anyone got any good pasta sauce suggestions?
Is it ok to use the ready made sauces in a jar from supermarkets (Dolmio, Ragu etc) or are these no good because of all the preservatives/additives?

I don’t know if it’s available across the sea, but most varieties of our Classico brands are pretty clean of preservatives, sugar, etc.

Yep, getting in the habit of reading the labels (Nutrition Facts panels) for sugar and fat content of tomato sauces is a good idea. And the ingredients list of something advertised as ‘natural style’ in some way should reflect this in its ingredients.

As someone who doesn’t care for whole tomatoes but does like tomato products, I sometimes use pasta sauces. They help me get in my twice weekly tomato intake and reduce prostate cancer risk.
