Pasta in the Microwave

This might sound like a dumb question (and I hope I don't get flamed for it).
I'm looking for some more easy carb meals, besides the usual oatmeal, veggies, etc. Does anyone know if it's okay - and if it is, how to go about - cooking pasta straight from the box in the microwave? I know you can easily cook first, store in tupperware in the fridge, and reheat later. But I'm wondering if, for even more convenience, it's possible to just eliminate those first two steps. I also know they have those "Pasta Anytime" dishes at stores but I'd prefer to stay away from those if at all possible (processing, sugar, etc.)
I also know that pasta isn't the best choice for GI, but I'm bulking anyway and I figure a little variety here and there won't hurt me. Thanks in advance for any help.

I’d just cook a whole box of it the conventional way. You can’t even cook decent ramen noodle w/ a microwave…
