Parisi & Other Franchise Programs

Parisi speed school has had a very good reputation for the past 10 years. The combine program that Martin runs is still one of the best, if not the best. However, since they have been opening all these new franchises the quality of training has dropped. I feel other franchise programs like Velocity are also experiencing the same watered down training. It’s sad, but I guess money talks.

Here are some videos from one of the Parisi franchises that posts on youtube:

Box Squat not even close to parallel. What are these athletes getting out of this? Isn’t the whole point of the box squat to utilize the hips/p-chain? Please, take off some weight and do it right. This isn’t impressive.

The following video is more of a fraud than anything else. The jump is impressive for a high school kid, but the height isn’t even close to what the caption says. Box Jumps to a 58" box. The last time I checked 12" + 18" + 24" equals 54"
Plyo-safe boxes come in 3, 6, 12, 18, and 24 inch sizes. This doesn’t add up.

Based on the video above this one isn’t 54" it is 51"
