Paris Hotel Las Vegas

Planning a nice 4 day in las vegas. Was looking into staying @ Paris for 3 nights. Air + hotel $1k for 2.

Looking for opinions on this hotel.

I stayed at Bally's next door but we spent a lot of time at Paris. Can't speak on the hotel rooms but from what I saw it was really nice. The buffet was decent and the club in the hotel is pretty cool, don't remember what it was called. Met a lot of chicks there though. Get bottle service if you go.

Who cares man you're in Vegas. Wouldn't matter if I stayed in a refridgerator box.

What kinds of activities do you have planned?

The Paris is one of the nicer hotels on the strip. It smells pretty. I actually won $200.00 on one of the coin slot machines after two tries. Your lady will love it there. Another nice hotel is the MGM Grand, if you're trying to make your girl smile.

But if you plan on doing a lot while in Vegas, I would recommend staying at one of the less costly hotels on the Strip. For example, the Excalibur sometimes offers $29.00/night stays on expedia or their own hotel website, as does many others. The reason for choosing any inexpensive hotel if you have plans to do a lot is that in Vegas, you will never see the inside of your hotel very much, except for the time you spend sleeping, and it's a place where you will want to sleep much less than you usually do. There's tons to do and it's all so fun and stimulating, and you lose track of time.

I'm one who needs my eight to nine hours of sleep and often naps. In Vegas, I wanted to keep going. I slept maybe 3-4 hours a night and didn't feel tired at all. And if you stay on the strip by the major hotels, the Paris, New York New York, Caesar's Palace, the Venetian, the Mirage, etc..., everything is within walking distance.

And there's so much to do and never enough time to do it all. Anway, post photos when you get back and let us know how it went. Have Fun!

P.S. Be sure that you and especially your girl brings really good walking shoes. I brought all 4" stilletos that I usually walk in at home, but they weren't practical there. There's so much enjoyable walking in Vegas, but you and especially she will regret not having the kind of shoes that are comfortable to do a lot of walking in...

Paris is nice, but... if you are going to go during pool season, you might want to check out Manalay bay, MGM the Mirage, and the Bellagio. Those are some of the nicer resorts with fantastic pools, gambling and bars/nightclubs. I have only ate at paris and it was so so and i have not been to the Wynn, I missed the opening by a week. But aside from the Palms, the Rio and the Hard Rock, which are not on the strip, most things are in walking distance, plus cabs have a flat rate out there. It's only about 8-10 to go anywhere on the strip. Just make sure that if you cab to a strip club make sure they drop you off either across the street of a block away, because if a cab drops you off in front of a strip club the club has to pay the cabbie, and then the bouncers will stick you with full cover, if you walk up and offer the doormen a little dough the won't normally charge you full cover. One last thing, don't even bother going to old vegas.

This is a surprise get away. Last yr I took her to sundaraspa.com for a long weekend get away. It was great. This yr we will be doing a 3 nighter in vegas. She hasnt been. She doesnt know where we are going. Just knows we are going somewhere. I wont tell her. sundaraspa.com was so good last yr we are going back 3 weeks after we get back from vegas. Ive been there before. But about 5 yrs ago. I just want to take her somewhere nice. Want to make her 1st trip their a good one. Any ideas of good things to do and look @ other then the hookers and strip clubs hahhaahah.

The Paris walk way it pretty cool inside. The place looks great from outside at night too. Plus, it's like taking her to a mini-Paris.

Dude, Vegas rocks. Paris is nice because it is close to the middle of the strip and many things are in walking distance. Anywhere on the strip should be badass. I would check out Mandalay Bay or Caesar's Palace. Have a blast!

Definitely check out the Effel Tower. It was really neat up there, and if you can time it right you can watch the Bellagio Fountains at the same time. I might be biased on the experience though, because I proposed to my fiance up there about a month ago. May the slots be with you.

haven't stayed at paris. It is very nice inside.

However, if i go back i'll stay in mandalay bay again. It is absolutely amazing, especially if it is pool season.

I stayed at treasure Island recently and it was very good. The pool area was awsome so thats a plus. I would have to say the most impressive place to go to is ceasars. Almost the entire indoor area has this high ceiling that is painted like the night sky and I shit you not you feel like you are out walking under the stars even in the middle of the day. It blew me away. Plus it is absolutely massive. I just kept walking and walking and there were these side corridors to explore and then they lead to other main corridors and eventually after walking for about 5 miles you come to a door that leads outside. There are all sorts of shops and resturants and grills and anything imaginable in that place, you could seriously not even leave the place and do a hell of a lot. Anyways, I think it's right across the street from paris so thats what I would do first.

I think it's pretty much pool season every day at vegas. It's not like it ever gets cold there.

Paris was cool but I didn't stay there.
Had fun staying at Mandalay, Venetian and Bellagio. But I also had fun staying at the shitty San Remo....you're in Vegas.
Spearmint Rhino Baby!

Things to do w/ your lady from as x resident of Vegas.

1)If she is wild check out a strip club. (Olympic Gardens is nice not too rowdy)

2)Good choice on the Paris (romantic) hit the eiifel towermduring a week nite so you can actually see the Bellagio fountains without throwing someone over the rail to get a sight line.

3)Gondola ride at the Venetian is nice.

4)Night life every major casino on the strip has good night life. (Avoid the Palms for the worst lines and RA at Luxor is great)

5)Karoeke with a live band at House of Blues at Mandalay.

6)Hit a Cirque show

7)New GM test track by the Sahara. Race a vette or the new GTO for chump change but do not drink b4 they have strict no alchohol policy.

Feel free to PM me if you have ?s but I will be in Seattle for the weekend and cannot answer until next week

Paris is . . . interesting, but a bit on the cheesy side. Too high on the cheese factor for me, but that's just my opinion. Depending how much you want to spend, THE nicest/classiest hotels in Vegas are the Wynn and the Bellagio. After that I'd say that Mandalay Bay, the Venetian and the Mirage are pretty much tied for third, and are all really nice in their own right. Most of the big hotels in Vegas are perfectly good, but you won't find total opulence in, say, Hard Rock or the Palms or MGM like you will at the Wynn or Bellagio. Depends what you're looking for.

I would avoid the SUPER-cheesy ones like New York New York, Aladdin, Circus Circus, etc., since you're an adult and all. If you're looking for the hottest party scene (along with the hottest pool scene  ), that's at the Hard Rock, period. You can always just go to there to gamble or go to the club there, Body English, which is a ROCKIN' good time, even if you don't stay there, but you can't go to the pool unless you stay there (or find a way to sneak in). The Palms is perfectly nice too, and also has a hot club (Rain), but it's off the Strip, as is the Hard Rock, and isn't QUITE the hot "scene" that the Hard Rock is. Truthfully, though, being off the Strip doesn't matter, because cabs are everywhere and relatively cheap.

Oh, and after a few trips there (and several friends who've been there and will concur), I strongly feel that Crazy Horse Too is the best strip club in Vegas, bar none.

The Paris pool is small. Your price sounds pretty good but that also deoends on if it's the weekend or not and where you're flying from. (didn't catch where you're from)I've stayed at Mandalay Bay the last 3 years. i won't stay there again unless the price drops on everything. $6 beers in the casino bars and very few waitresses when you gamble. Also @ MB the upkeep seemed to take a back seat around the pool area. Anyway, I think you're right on track. If still looking check out NY-NY.

yeah, this pretty much covers it. if money isn't an issue stay at Venetian, Bellagio, or Wynn. Mandalay, Mirage and Caesars are all nice, and the rest of the major hotels on the strip are fine too.

as for the pool scene, it's Hard Rock and Palms. most of the hotels have nice pools (esp Mandalay), but being on the strip means most of your pool crowd is out-of-shape tourists.

as for strip clubs, that Spearmint Rhino is good.

I'm going again in June -- I'm so psyched!

A good pool is a must! We will be going mid june. So the hotter the temps. the better. I imagine we will lay out, explore the strip and do a couple shows.

We will be flying out of FMN, non-stop flight.

I like the paris simply because it sounds little exotic. You always hear about people staying @ MGM, Mand. Bay. Bellagio etc... Don't want to be like everyone. Hard Rock sound slike it might be ok. But again another reason I like Paris is location. With all the walking I dont want to have to get a cab every time. Would just like to walk to where we wil be going?

So the pool @ Paris isnt that great huh?
