Pain/Tightness While Doing Pulling Exercises


I'm not real sure where the pain is coming from, but it occurs while doing deadlifts and pullups. The pain seems to be coming from under my arm going to my lat.

I've tried to rest it for about 2 weeks, but as soon as I try a pulling movement the pain/tightness occurs.

Any ideas on what this could be?


Possibly teres major? Have you tried foam rolling and stretching?


That's possible. I've tried stretching, but it hasn't helped. I'll try to foam rolling to see if that helps.

I can feel it tighten up when extending my arm sometimes.
