Dad is experiencing pain doing lateral raises and some forms of overhead lifting. However it isn’t pain in the shoulder per se, it is pain near the deltoid tuberosity of the humerus. I’d wager that the pain is from the attachment site of his delt, but i’m not 100% sure so I won’t say that as a fact.
Has anyone had this, and do you have any recommendations? I have read shoulder savers in the past, but if memory serves me correct none of it applied to this part of the deltoid.
PS the only recommendation I’ve made to him so far is to stop doing whatever hurts, so he is doing neutral grip seated overhead dumbbell press, which doesn’t hurt.
