Oxford Training Method

Has anyone ever used the Oxford method? Its been around for awhile from what i’ve been told but i haven’t been able to get much info on it except the its basically a accending and decending pyramid with very little rest in between sets, very high volume. Is this right?Any info on how to cycle this or use it would be very welcome.

In my Desigining Resistance Training Programs, it says the Oxford system is where you just go from heavy to light, so it’s just half a pyramid. I think that’s what CP says to do if you want to hit all the dufferent kinds of muscle fibres. Go heavy first when you’re fresh to get the fast ones, then over a few sets, keep dropping the weight & adding reps.
