What is the best way to overcome metabolic damage? I have a client who was only eating once or twice a day, so to increase his metabolism we obviously increased his meal frequency. What ended up happening is that he started to gain quite a bit of bodyfat.
Now, in hindsight, I believe the best thing to do was to SLOWLY increase his meal intake and calories. I think what happened is that we increased his calories and meal frequency too quickly. Any comments or experience from anyone? Thanks for any input!

You’ve answered your own question right there.
Making sure that your client exercises regularly will go a long way to increasing their metabolism as well.
