Overcoming Injury

A year and 2 months later I can say ive finally accomplished what I thought would be almost impossible: I’ve returned to the lifestyle I enjoyed before injury. I was suffering from leg numbness and back pain for months, received physical therapy and pain therapy. 4 years of Jiu Jitsu was put on hold for what seemed to be an unfair ailment plaguing me, affecting my personal and professional life.

Despite all of that I am excited to know I am deadlifting 215lbs (a grand feet given the circumstances) front squating and jogging again. The best thing I can say coming onto this thread is that the power of healing is correlated closesly to ones thoughts. The belief that one shall overcome their injury will pull them to success. I wish all who come into this thread seeking guidance luck!
