Why should latinos, the people who also owned slaves and killed Indians, get reparations? In many places in the US, they were late immigrants, as in they came after the Chinese, Irish, Jews, Italians, Poles, etc.
But you can’t be white, unless you’re latino? So Ted Cruz could get reparations but some white kid in Appalachia gets nothing.
