Original 2 Day Assistance?


I have 2 days a week to lift weights. I’m using the assistance exercises from the 5/3/1 second edition book.

Id like to use leaders and anchors. My anchor at the moment is 5/3/1 Pr set & Pyramid. For my next leader I’d like to use 5’s and FSL amrap sets.

Should any changes be made to the original assistance or am I good to go using this for leaders and anchors?

Example Day 1
Squat Pr set & pyramid
Bench Pr set & pyramid
Chin ups 3 x 10
Back raises 3 x 15
DB bench press 3 x 10
Rear laterals 3 x 20
