Hey guys. 16 years old and about a year's lifting experience. Former fat-guy rugby player (front row if that means anything to you). I've been training 5/3/1 whilst trying to lose fat and gain some strength. (Slower progression helps keeping me from plateauing)
Hopefully I can finish cutting down in around ten weeks before hopping on to SS to get my lifts up. Thoughts?
Right now I calorie cycle so I'm eating around 3000kcals every training day and 1600-1800kcals on off days, plus a cheat meal every couple of weeks.

Overall my goal isn't to get in contest-shape or anything, I just want to get lean enough to gain some weight without worrying (10-12%?). Then yeah, SS to boost my lifts and then maybe Texas Method or back to 5/3/1. Wish me luck!
