So today I ran into a wall when I was lifting. It was one of those days where you just were not as strong as you normally were and it ended up beating you. After I couldnt match my reps from my last chest workout I kinda got pretty defeated. I could not concentrate on any more of my lifts and ended up bailing on my last set for my last exercise. Kinda had those 'why bother' thoughts. I am not getting as big as I want or improving at the rate I want.
I have heard that even the serious lifters have had days like this. Alot of people quit after days like this im also told. While I have no thoughts about actually quitting I am interested in hearing how others overcame these types of days and motivated themselves to get back into the gym with a renewed sense of purpose.
