Hi all. Any thoughts on one arm floor presses? already been doing one arm standing presses and have had good results. but one arm floor presses seem to be very hard to execute.the torque is ridiculous (i am trying to ease into respectable poundages). anyone doing these?
I’ve done them in the past. I work them in for a few weeks at a time. Good for a change of pace.
I do 1 arm presses on a bench, I could see how on the floor would much be harder.
I tried them, but went back to two-arm. It requires a ton of stabalization, but I was usually more concerned with building my pressing strength than building stabalization. I could never handle nearly as much on one-arm as I could on two-arm.
