There is one slight problem. Nobody has ever officially benched, squatted, or deadlifted past 1100lb?

You’re wrong.

Indeed. As recently as last week, at the Arnold Classic, Andy Bolton squatted 1214, Chad Aichs squatted 1174 and Paul Childress 1147.

Wow, I am certainly out of date. Ohwell.[/quote]

He forgot Mike Miller 1220

wasn’t that last year? he was outlining what happened this year

There’s a reason why it’s so cheap. I really doubt it’s more durable than a TPB, they’re a great reputation.

I’ve used both, the Jesup bar will stand up to much more of a beating than a texas power bar. If you’re looking for highly durable all-round bar, go with the Jesup.

I have a texas power bar and a jesup bar (and many others), both are good bars. I use the texas bar for bench pressing and the jesup bar for squats.

But, if I had to choose only one bar to have, it’d be the jesup bar.

Sweet. Thanks for all the help guys. Off to make the gods rejoice in a new iron child…
