Omega Eggs

Hi All,

Can anyone tell me if the nutritional benefit of Omega 3 eggs goes beyond the yolk? In other words if I am going to use only the whites is it worth buying the good eggs?

No. Omega 3 fatty acids are found only in the yolk, the white contains no fat. You should also know that the yolks are pretty nutritious and if you are eating only the whites you aren’t getting a complete protein (they don’t contain all the essential amino acids), whereas if you eat the whole egg you are.

Where’s the best place to get Omega-3 eggs?

I would say a chicken.

But seriously, any grocers or health food store should stock some.
