Olympic Accident

OUCH!

I’m not sure if this has already been posted somewhere.

Fuck it that looks painfull.

LOL, I love the people covering it up.

Oh I know, lol.

CENSOR CENSOR CENSOR

That’s unbelievable! I’m sure the weights falling on the back of his neck was no picnic either.

Holy moley! I want to know what happened to him afterward, cracked rib? spinal injury? shoulder? Bad luck doing that at the Olympics!

There was another thread about this where someone mentioned nothing was broken. He didn’t quote an exact source, though…

the video is down what exactly happened?

I read an update on that lifter. There was no “real” damage, no torn or damaged ligaments/tendons and no broken bones. They put it back in place and expect a 4-6 week recovery time. Lucky SOB

My coach said he pulled with his elbows pointing backwards instead of upwards, causing a rotation instead of a pull. Bad technique basically…

And he also didn’t seem to lock when he lifted…I couldn’t tell though, only my coach pointed to me.

Here’s some pictures

Only dislocated his shoulder nothing else was broken/shattered/strained. Recovery will be about a month apparantly.
