Not blaming the shoes for anything but alright

you could try a 1/2 inch block or board under your heels before you buy, then see how it feels

I’ve only squatted in chucks, but recently went to an even lower profile shoe, the Sabo Deadlift shoe. I like them. I feel more connected to the ground and it’s somehow easier to feel the weight through my heels than in chucks.

I squat about 1.5 x shoulder width, so not super wide like geared lifters, and toes pointed out maybe 30 degrees. Low bar. And focus on forcing knees out.

No depth issues.

Casual observation at meets and in the gym, those who use a weightlifting style heeled show tend to squat narrower and have more knee flexion with the knees coming past the toes. Usually don’t see people squat wide with toes pointed out with heeled shoes.
