Here are the two local Weightlifting clubs in New Jersey. They might be a good resource for you.
I hope this helps

How did the WS4SB work out for you?

Thanks for the responses, that did help.

Westside worked out great for me. We use it at my hs. Being that Defranco graduated from my hs. WS4Sb does work, if your looking to do it. It deffently packed some size and strength on me.

I’d like to point out that a lot of the workouts the coach’s post daily (Burgner’s specifically) is geared towards his athletes competitions and when they will occur.

Other coaches no doubt follow this philosophy. I think its called period…something, whatever. Anywho, best of luck to you man. O lifting is awesome!

For those starting the O-lifts, i’d recommend a simple program of snatch, CJ, and a variation of a squat. The focus, if just starting, is to build up the technique, requisite flexibility, and strength.

Most resistance trained athletes already have a good base of strength, therefore i think the focus should be on practice, practice, practice. Do O-lifting everyday…not heavy, but groove the patterns, do OH Squats, snatches, cleans, jerks with a pvc everyday and in warm-up.

A no-nonsense approach would be to snatch, clean and jerk, and front squat 3 days a week on non-consecutive days.
