How would you train an older type 1 with aging joints? He’s trying to prolong his athleticism as long as possible, but can tweak his knees/ hips/ etc. relatively easily with heavy lifting and it’s annoying.
Would you spend more time with warm-ups/ mobility, higher reps, friendlier exercises, etc? I know these things work, but also seem a bit counter to my nature and I get bored after awhile.
Slightly more specific goals are to be somewhat strong and lean, look good naked, and be in good enough shape to show neighborhood boys how to actually play ball.
