Things have changed. It was 92 degrees at workout time. I told my wife and daughter last night I wanted to push it to the point I couldn’t walk. I don’t think I missed it by much. My heart, lungs and legs were screaming.

The sandbag shoulder carries were done over five sets.

Again, just like NLFTR’s posting, you rate really high on here if you’re getting oldergoat responses.

Wow. That’s because he’s a legend. Like the Lone Ranger, he rides in, does something great, and rides off.

I think it’s time for a max week. I can then drop the weight and reset for the summer.

I’m taking 2023 off from meets, but plan to compete at least twice next year, including a return to the worlds. Then onto the World Police and Fire Olympics in 2025. I’ve been thinking now is the time to set all of that up.

Yeah, since you likely did that workout with one hand.

I wish. I went to war with 345. It was one of my hardest sets ever. The guy who spotted me said there was no way he was taking it. He was going to let me fight it. Of course, I told him that was perfect, and what I wanted.

I do rack pulls from the knees. 675 is my most ever. I lost the handle right at lock out, but I am going to count it anyway, because it’s a piss load of weight.

I hit the 11 pound lost mark, and I am giving my diet experiment one more week. I purchased a gallon jug that has times on it, and am drinking a gallon a day now.

I have heavy deadlifts coming up this weekend, so this was not too extreme. I want to save the legs. The hardest exercise was carrying the plate over my head.

Overhead carries…great exercise thanks for the reminder and I just took a screen shot of that workout…looks awful…I like it!

Yeah, I went down and back. The first half was not too bad. I had to put it down only one time. Coming back was a different story.
