I did it! Seven days with no meat. As a farm kid, that’s a big thing. My dad and uncle raised a lot of cattle. I have not been doing vegan, because I am still using whey protein. I’m down nine pounds, and had a great week in the gym. I’ll probably have some meat today and give it another seven days.
I think 655 might be the most I have pulled from the rack, but who knows.

There were no sandbags this week. I went old school, where Weighted Walk Wednesday started and hit farmers’ walks. My walk shirt is three years old and has yet to washed. It’s been with me on every walk since 2020. Even I have to admit at this point, it’s getting pretty smelly.
3 years! Why rush things.
I refuse to wash it at this point (no matter what the wife says).

Well that sucked. My goal was 345 for a clean two. Last week I needed a little bump on the second rep. I could not even get the first one this week without some help.
My wife always asks me how it went. I told her it was terrible, but it is what pushes all of us. I’ll give it a ride again next week. I think I might be about half mental.
Maybe why?
I was wondering the same thing, but my other workouts have been spot on. In reality I was only two pounds lighter than my previous bench day. Today I was on Week 6 of an eight week DL program. I am 10 pounds lighter and my top set was 15 pounds heavier.
I am trying to slowly lose the weight to avoid a huge drop off. I think my issue yesterday was my set up and my head.
