“Vegas recovery” is pretty funny.

How many weeks out now?..(not that we’re counting)

Today was a big day. Earlier this year my front tooth died. I was told I must have taken a good shot in the mouth at some point. It could have been football, wrestling, lifting, 30 years of law enforcement, or anything else.

Anyway today was the big day. I got my new tooth. It’s been a huge pain the past seven months. I have had to wear a retainer to make it look like I’m not toothless. It was a real pain in the ass in Vegas.

I have some minor back spasms, so I didn’t push anything too hard. Also we went to a college football game last night, so I was a little tired. It’s best to be smart at this point of the game.

That’s great about the tooth-dental issues are no small thing.

One month baby…it’s gonna be good :muscle:

Yeah the other one is going too and they wanted that one. I asked how long does it have, and I was told months or years. I told them at five grand a tooth I’ll gamble on years.

I’m in training this week in anther town about 90 minutes away. I probably need to mow the lawn when I got home, but I had a raging headache and felt a workout was more important. It nearly cured my headache.

Must still be short sleeve weather there.

That stuff isn’t cheap-money better spent in Vegas perhaps(?)

Training looks good :mechanical_arm:

Thanks guys, I am already planning the next Vegas run, although a return trip to biker’s neck of the woods would be interesting too.

I purchased my plane ticket for Phoenix two days ago, so I’m locked in for the meet. Work training got over early today, so I headed to the gym for the more important training. My back is still a little stiff, but I have a month. I compete November 3rd.

Sometimes being out of your routine is a good thing. I normally bench on Saturdays, but yesterday we drove to Gonzaga for Parents’ Weekend and spent the day with our son (even though he said Parents’ Weekend wasn’t for law students).

None of my normal crew was training today. I enlisted a guy I only know a little to spot. I also was forced to use a different bench. Some guy took my bench before I could get to it. Everyone knows the bench on the left belongs to Bill. Anyway it was all pretty light. My spotter said 350 was stronger than 325. In fact, he didn’t realize I added weight.

Next weekend is Parents’ Weekend at Washington State. They have a legit bench press contest for parents and students. Thus far my daughter is a no go. I told we would win easy, but she is a firm no.

I know, how cool would that be? We talked to her on Facetime last night, and it was still a no.
