It was 93 inside the house the other night. I paid cash for the system. I got a huge $300 discount for doing so. We need to struggle for eight more days.

I got 675 to move, nothing close to locking out. Today the deload is over, and training starts.
This makes for a miserable night. Think I would have to splurge on a small window a/c just to cool the bedroom until it gets fixed.

It was 95 at carry time. Only 91 inside the house. I have seven days before the new system. My wife likes to point out we didn’t have AC when I was a kid. I then point out I was poor then. Now I’m doing ok and I need to be cool. I didn’t know better when I was a kid.
Tonight I did 1000 steps in two sets. The first set was a PR of 600 steps.

Not much going on. My allergies are killing me. We have to sleep with the windows open. We have had some large forest fires around here, so the air is not the best.
We’re going to my class reunion today. 31 years, since they cancelled last year. We’ll see if there are any lifters in the crowd.

If it’s any comfort, lots of us have likely joined in your HVAC countdown.
Here in deep South air conditioning I presently sweat while drinking coffee (something new), and our insulated home windows are heavily covered each morning with exterior humidity condensation. Smokey air probably trumps even this.
I’ve done my time in the south. Even though I love it, that part would be rough.

I have to admit, that was rough. One of my high school football buddies had me doing tequila shots last night. It was a mistake. The same guy said he wants to lift with me. I said I’ll be at the gym in the morning. He said, “No, not then.”
There were no lifters, but most everyone has seen me on Facebook, so I got a lot of questions. I was even told I was big as a “brick shithouse.” All and all it was a good time.
That beats a traps squeeze any day. They were probably afraid to.
