Ohio Bar: Max Weight? Opinions?

#1

Hi, I'm in the process of building a home gym. I have read on many sites that it's definitely worth buying a decent barbell. I was considering the rogue ohio bar as I'll be using it for powerlifting movements aswel as olympic lifting. I was looking at the bar online and I noticed that it didn't say how much weight the bar can hold, does anyone know? Also, is this the best value bar out there for my type of training or are there better alternatives?

Why don’t you call them and ask?

How much do you lift, out of curiosity, that you have to worry about the bar breaking?

I don’t lift much right now but I was thinking that I would much rather get an expensive bar now and it lasting years and years than skimping on the bar and then having to replace it with an expensive bar in 2 or 3 years. Also I’ve watched a number of videos which all say that you should never skimp on the bar which makes sense to me.
