Off T Temporarily, Levels Dropping Faster than Expected: What Might This Mean?

Figured I’d share an update. When I got my bloodwork after 3 full weeks off T, my IGF-1 level dropped about 30%. Still above normal, but much less so. It appears that, at least for me, there’s a correlation between exogenous T and IGF-1 levels. I’m still concerned about acromegaly so I’m going to be monitored going forward, but my endocrinologist doesn’t think there’s much to be concerned about at the moment.

I was wondering if you had any recent updates on your situation.

I have had very similar elevated IGF-1 levels. Had pituitary MRI and it was clear. I am concerned that it is the T replacement causing as well. No Pre-TRT baseline.
Since starting has risen from:
218 on 1/25/19
274 on 4/20/19 (6 week labs)
336 on 4/30/19 Repeat test due to high finding (different lab same as first test on 1/25)
Prolactin was slightly elevated at 20.9 on 4/20.

T levels and Estradiol - Sensitive were high with same lab work and protocol has been adjusted.
Total T - >1500
Free T - 41.5
Estradiol - Sensitive - 64.2
