anybody eat less on their off days from training? I recently took the weekend off(due to toe injury) for the first time in about 2 years. I ate less and I feel weak, does anyone have any thoughts on this. I figured that I would need less cals b/c I was not working out. Advice???
If you haven’t taken a day off in 2 years AND you have an injury, you should eat the same or more to help in recovery. If anything, swap out some startchy carbs for more protein or healthy fat.
agreed. just keep your protein high.
It’s ok to eat less on your off days. Or you can eat more. Do you really think your eating plan for one single day is going to make a diffeence in the long run?
