Oddest Nutritious Combinations

You know those days when you forgot to go to the store, and have to make a day of nutritios meals out of odd ingredients?
Well then post the most absurd combinations you have tried here are a few of my better ones…

Flax Seeds, Organic Peanut Butter and Apples on whole wheat toast.

Berries and Almonds in Oatmeal. (WEIRD)

Asparagus Omlette(not bad actually)

Grow! + Acai Juice + Oats + blender = a Nutritious Mash

Peanut Butter & Honey on a Banana(CHEAT FOOD)

Post yours…

Dont know if I stole this from Berardi-

I mix fat free cottage cheese with milk chocolate Metabolic Drive… and other protein powders.

Dont know if that qualifies as odd

Good prebed snack for slow digesting protein

I’m always creating weird stuff but here are a few:

Peanut butter inside a hard-boiled egg.

Everynow and then i break up a protein bar inside my protein shake to add calories and flavor.

I like bbq sauce on just about everything: tuna, eggs, chicken, vegetables, burgers, salmon, roast beef, steak, you name it id probably eat it.

one time i had some frozen tuna in the freezer and I put it in my protein shake for more protein and calories with a ton of other stuff like crystal lite, peanut butter, milk, banana, honey. it was pretty awful id have to say. the smell wasnt bad it was the taste.

I often add a lot of berries to my tuna, like raisans, and dried fruit, again for the calories.

Oh and omlettes, I enjoy making omlettes, I put samon in one before, steak, tuna, hamburger, turkey, ham, black beans, all with mustard and ketchup. that stuff is good.

well that is enough for now.

wow…thats a lot of mixing…

never thought of eggs and PB…

thats definitely an interesting one…that ive never ever heard of…but hey if thats the way you like your protein and it gets you what you need…then it sounds like a sweet deal for you

I think he takes the prize…

for extra fiber i like to add “some colon destroying” power to peanut butter…just stir it around and eat it off the spoon like candy

One of my friends eats peanut butter and jelly, with pickles.

Freakin’ weird.

I make shakes with broccoli and spinach then I add my custom 50/50 soy-whey protein powder and natural peanut butter.

I drink at least two a day, they digest very well and fit into my AD cycle.

veggies good…whey good

why are you so fond of soy?

I like cottage cheese with Frank’s hot sauce. I really enjoy the above on eggs as well.

I like soy because it is inexpensive and digests slower than whey. I even like the taste and texture.

I’ve read every anti-soy article I can find…I am still not convinced it’s evil.

Most anti-phytoestrogen people are selling phytoandrogens.

After trying PB on a burger once, I’m hooked on the PB+meat combination.

My current favorite is to put a thick stack of deli turkey on whole wheat and spread on a tablespoon or two of PB–sometimes open face for less carbs. If you use natural peanut butter, I’d recommend a squirt of sugar-free maple syrup to sweeten. Trust me, it works.

PB goes well with Canadian Bacon for a breakfast sandwich as well.
