Does the training of the different contraction types always proceed the development of different strength qualities (i.e. speed-strength, strength-speed, etc) in your programming? If not, what are the variables that might make you modify or scrap training the contraction types for an entire block? I was thinking somethings such as being in-season vs off-season, neurotype, or whether the athlete has a sufficient base of strength commiserate with their sport requirements might play a role.
