Obama's Cabinet Diversity

"Rep. Charlie Rangel (D-N.Y.), the second-longest serving African-American congressman in the House, slammed the lack of diversity in President Barack Obama’s second-term cabinet Thursday.

“It’s as embarrassing as hell,” Rangel said on MSNBC’s “Jansing & Co.” of Obama’s top picks. “We’ve been through all of this with Mitt Romney. And we were very hard on Mitt Romney with the women binder and a variety of things.”

“I kinda think there’s no excuse when it’s the second term. If it’s the first term, you could see people got to know who is around and qualified in order to get this job, number one,” he continued."

I thought the Great Oz was all about diversity and equality ?

I can actually respect Obama for this. He obviously thought that the best people for the job were white males, and he made his decision based on merit rather than skin color.

It would’ve been very easy for him to appoint cabinet members who brought less to the table but represented some minority group.

That being said, I have no doubt that if he were a Republican, the press/every women’s group/the Democrats/female members of Congress would be crucifying him right now.

What the hell are these diversity police going to do?

Vote republican? LOL

DO NOT DISAGREE WITH THE GREAT OZ !

Agreed, with all of it.

He got his second term. He has no need for integrity anymore.

He didn’t need it in his first term.
