Let me add that I studied George Orwell before you were born.
That you are older, less virile, and nearer than me to senility and death does not mitigate the irony of your insistence upon quoting one of the most famous socialists in history.[/quote]
His quotes are the vision that is America. Here’s one for you…I have no doubt that smart tv’s have cameras that are capable of viewing every room they are placed in. (Digital cable the information travels both ways in and out.) Did you see the movie also? Every home has a camera in it but you don’t know if you are being watched by “them” because there are too many of us, but it keeps most in line.
You and I are like oil and water, we just shouldn’t mix. You overplay everything I write. Example I said to “Legionary” when he wrote "It’s S-P-Q-R, which stands for Senatus Populusque Romanus (“The Senate and People of Rome”… like I’ve never seen Spartacus or Gladiator or read about Rome.
What bothers you so much that you are compelled to respond to me quoting a socialist’s vision from the 1940’s and comparing it in today’s America?? I wish to warn the sheep , the Joe-6-packs that blather on about sport scores or wish to right some wrong by labeling people racist when that is the least of this nation’s worries at this point and time.
And your statement that I am nearer to death. We never really know about that do we? It is strange. Sometimes these blogs are fun and other times they makes me depressed. Hell I’m glad your not some stuck up SOB.
P.S. You guys that keep saying your not left or not a socialist. You wouldn’t know. The rest of us do.
You honestly believe that your television is transmitting video footage of your living room to some government basement?
And, by the way, the nearer to death thing was a joke. My point is that your age, in an of itself, is not an advantage in debate.
