Nutrition Plan for Fast Weight Loss?

Hi all,

I am new to T-Nation and lifting in general. I am trying to come up with a diet/nutrition/exercise plan that I can stick to religiously and get the best fat burn possible. I currently am somewhat athletic but have much excess weight on me. I would like to lose as much weight as possible by mid august and keep at my routine after that.

about 2 weeks ago I changed my workout and diet from sitting at a desk all day with absolutely zero exercise to running in the morning before work and lifting at lunch. I was interested in seeing the different opinions on what exercises everyone thinks I should be focusing on and what type of diet I should be eating.

Any advice is welcome and will be considered greatly. Thank you in advance for helping!

Exercises you should be doing: squats, deadlifts, bench press, and pull-ups.
