Nutrient Consumption by LBM or BW?

I am trying to figure out how many nutrients I should be consuming daily. I feel that it should be done by lean body mass, because fat doesn’t need nutrients. What are the baseline numbers for fat loss and mass gain?

Depends on what your goal is.

F = .5g/lb TBW
P = 1.25g-1.5g/lb LBW
C = 2.0g/lb TBW - building
1.0g/lb TBW - maintaining
.5g/lb TBW - leaning

Carbs should be adjusted based on personal carb tolerance.
