Number One Secret

For you guys over 45 - I’m almost 50 - what is your #1 secret for putting on muscle? Is it all the same stuff as when you were 25?

I guess I feel like I could just look at a weight at 25 and put on muscle. But here’s my number one secret:

Volume. I think this helps me dramatically by putting on muscle slowly and steadily without injury.

You don’t have to agree with me. In fact, I’d like to hear some differing viewpoints for us middle aged guys.

Can’t disagree with what works for you. Volume helps me put on muscle too, when I eat for it.

In this age range Testosterone is or has been dropping off, time to supplement.

Biotest has some pretty good pro-test formulas like Alpha Male.

Have yer T levels check, at your time of life this should be looked at.

Lifting heavy and often still works for me.

Low volume lifting.
High volume eating.

low volume heavy (for me) poundage.
