Haha ok, so this is kind of a long story but I’ll just tell you the basics to keep from boring people. A friend says I can get a few thousand bucks to pose nude for this gay porn site. Who knows if this is legit, etc., but assuming that it is… what would be the repurcussions of doing something like this down the road as far as affecting my career? I am planning on getting into teaching in the public education system. Anything else I should think about before doing this? By the way I am straight and would not be doing this for fun or anything, but a few thousand bucks does sound pretty darn good!

I’m sure this will be echoed by others but if i was considering teaching as a profession i would not touch gay porn with a barge pole.

My opinion is that its not really appropriate if you want to be a teacher. Sooner or later, someone is going to uncover these photos and it could really land you in some hot water with your job. Not to mention that your justification is that its only for the money - and I’m not sure that’s a good message for your future students. Unless of course they are extreme closeups of your anus and no one is going to see your face.lol.
These are the types of situations that you need to think long and hard about and do a lot of what-if situations in your head before going ahead with it. There are other ways to earn easy money.

Bro I could have done straight porn (would have made only a few hundred/not G’s). Either way picture this scenario. One day you get married, have kids, and your kids eventually start looking at porn. And as for future repercussions, assume that someone WILL find those pictures and make the connection to you. If you’re still comfortable with that, then by all means go ahead. If I were in your shoes, I wouldn’t.
I agree that it would be detrimental to any future career you want, unless, of course, you want a career as a gay porn star and even that would be no guarantee that you’d hit it big in the male porn industry enough to live off of over the long haul. So if this is to be a one time gig, it’s not worth it. Better not to jeopardize your long term livelihood.

I’m no rocket scientist, but do you think that maybe ruining his professional career had something to do with his depression and being “screwed up”? I really fail to see the correllation between posing nude for gay porn and all the repercussions you list.

My friend just moved into a new apt and one of his roomies is gay. Me and my friend are straight by the way, but we are pretty open people so we’re always asking him all kinds of questions related to his sexuality, etc. So anyways somehow us posing for a gay porn site became the topic of conversation and I was like “yeah sure I’d do it, like wtf who cares, I’ll let people take pics of me for money any day.” So of course his roomate knew of this place and just said if I was serious I could get a few thousand bucks for pictures. So now that there was a real offer on the table I started thinking about it more and wasn’t so sure it would be a good idea, lol. Uhm, I don’t get off to a naked man. If you watch straight porn and get off to a naked man, well… Sure, when I watch straight porn there is a naked man, but that doesn’t get me off. I don’t sit there waiting until I can see the guy naked before I get off. He is saying he is going to pose nude knowingly for a gay porn site. Meaning gay men are coming to the site to see his naked body so they can get off. I think that is a huge difference between getting off on a straight porn that happens to have a naked man in it.
