Noticeable Difference?

In short, could someone actually make noticeable improvements to body composition just by shifting a chunk of their daily diet away from chocolate and sweets and over to lower GI carb sources, assuming the healthier food replacing the sweets and choc were of identical caloric value?

If the total calories are the same then there obviously won’t be a massive shift in weight loss or gain, but if you’re getting all your carbs from sugary crap like chocolate or whatever then your diet is doing horrible shit to you causing all kinds of inflammation, fucking up your gut microbiome, etc.

Improving that shit by switching to better quality carb sources will definitely improve your body composition.
