Normal for Squat To Be So Much Weaker Than My Deadlift?

The cutting version is 3x5 instead of 5x5 on the main lifts and 2x8 instead of 3x8 on the accessories.

I would add a few sets of light deadlifts on another day, just for technique practice.

All videos i watched about back rounding during the deadlift said that it can be caused by a lack of leg strength.Wouldn’t increasing my squat help with that?

It’s not often I’d recommend starting strength but if it’s between Blaha’s program and starting strength - I’d go with starting strength.

So i should just quit blaha’s program and start starting strength? Any particular reason for this?

If it’s between Blaha and anything else I would go with whatever isn’t Blaha.

I don’t know anything about the program, I just don’t like Jason Blaha. That comment was intended as a joke, sort of.

I disagree that it is solid. I think it looks like what I see posted on these forums by guys who have been lifting for 3 months.

Jason has coached no one, let alone anyone who has achieved anything. You have potential, you should really invest in yourself.
