Non-Weightlifting Workout Drinks

Is Surge (or any post workout drink) worthwhile after any sort of training session, or weightlifting? I know that I often feel exhausted afterwards, but it’s more of a general physical exhaustion, rather then any muscles feeling tired (I’m not sure if these are actually different or if thats just my perception however).

Generally, you need the PWO nutrition that Surge provides if you have depleted your glycogen stores - such as via demanding lifting.

However, according to some articles posted by that Barr fellow, it will stimulate an anabolic response… which may be worthwhile to you at other times.
