Just thought I would post my new power rack. It’s not much but it will be better for me than the shitty gym I belong to now. It’s in a room that’s a little bigger than a prison cell, maybe 5"x6" and it’s also my boiler room and tool room, hence the ladder on the wall.
I’m posting it because this means I no longer have to go to my pansy ass gym where they set off an alarm (im not joking) if you push yourself to the point where you need to yell, grunt, or make any other “offensive” noise.

Oh, they also dont allow deadlifting.
Those days are over…
Good deal. Hopefully you’ll need to buy some more 45 plates soon.
The power cages are one of the best pieces of equipment one can get. That along with dumbells and barbells is all you need. Good luck getting past 450#.

Yea, it was planet shitness
I went to get a membership there, and they told me about some “judgement free zone” bullshit. No grunting, and no dropping the weights! You might as well have a big sign that says “No training with intensity.”
I then looked around and saw only old people, fat people, and a mix of both in some cases, and noticed a certain lack of anything resembling a squat rack or bench and promptly left.
I super set pink dumbbells with bench. Here’s how it goes-Do a heavy set of bench, rest 10 seconds then grab the pink dumbbells and throw them at the guy that leaves his weights on the bar. Try and aim for the head. In my gym that would be 3/4ths the members. I aim for the closest one.

That place can kiss my ass.

I cant believe they have a no grunting rule. I understand the need to shut up some weirdos, but heavy lifting requires some noise.
