No Lockout on Bench Press

I watched a video of Brandon Curry i found on the neck pressing thread on here, and he was talking about how people with long arms shouldn’t lockout when benching, to keep all the tension on the chest. has anyone done this and gotten good results, or is locking out and not lonking out bring about the same results…

Locking out on the bench press is mostly triceps. If you want a big bench then lock out, if you want a big chest, and train tris seperately, don’t lock out. Also, some people don’t lock out completely due to shoulder problems.
