Season 3 has gotten darker, I agree. I caught a few eps here and there of the other seasons but didn’t get into it till this one.

Still catching up on season 2 but … speaking of issues, that Matt is some kind of piece of work. He just buries lies on underneath the other to cover his ass as much as he can. If karmic laws apply in this series … it`s going to bite him back hard.
I don’t have cable so I haven’t seen any of season 3 yet…lets just say I got the DVD pass just for Nip-Tuck…

Matt is a freaky mother. Wouldn’t suprise me at all if he was the carver or shoots up his school or something like that.
My top two candidates for the carver right now are Dr. Costas and Matt. It came out in episode 3 that Quinton was bisexual and both men and women have been victims of the carver. No one seems to be looking at him as a suspect though.
As for matt, he is just way F’d up. All that stuff with his family, his boyfriend Famke Jannsen last year, the hit and run from season 1. Damn, brother has got to have some issues.
I dont remember his name, but Matts friend who did jail time because of the car accident could be the Carver. He sure won`t have problems anally raping men or women after jailtime.
Bumping and the latest episode kicked ass. The one before when Julia was building the spa was a little “off” but I’d say they’re back on track with this one.
And the scene where Kimber consoles Christian was amazing. Talk about knowing just what to say . . . and do!
Well that was interesting last night.

I must agree with you guys. Nip/tuck is one if not the best show on television right now. It touches so many nerves on all different levels. My girlfriend and I never miss an episode. By the way the carver is definetly that gay guy Quentin.

The carver is Liz. Think about it. Liz is always making critical comments about women chopping their bodies up. Liz had access to Christian’s sperm when he volunteered to be the father of her child. She botched the anesthesia job on that fake carver chick purposely because she knew that the lady was fake.
And then dumb ass Christian said Oh ok try this “supposed” bad batch on me to see if it works or not. This would have been perfect time for Liz to go set everything up and try to frame Christian.

You make some very interesting points about Liz. For some reason though I just cant picture it. She seems too nice. And if i remember correctly, when the carver attacked sean there was a bit of a struggle, and I doubt if she could overpower him.
But she does have access to the drugs, she would know how to cut people without killing them from watching the sean and christian. She should definately be considered a candidate.
I still think it is Quinton.
