we’ve started to address the OL issues with free agency. picked up Adam Snyder. he played all five offensive line positions during his time with the 49ers, and he made at least 10 starts at each of the positions except for center. also talking to FA’s Jake Scott of the Titans and Demetrius Bell of the Bills. both played more than one position on the line.
just re-signed Levi Brown after releasing him to avoid the cap hit on his final year of $16.9 million.
if we can get the OL solid we can draft someone like SS Mark Barron or CB Drey Kirkpatrick or could trade down to get a 2nd rnd pick. if we don’t drop too far could still get Barron in the 1st but Kirkpatrick won’t make it past the cowgirls. would love to grab someone like ILB Dont’a Hightower, WR Greg Childs or Alshon Jeffery, or TE Dwayne Allen or Coby Fleener in the 2nd. we really need a decent TE.
if we can’t get a 2nd hope to find SS Antonio Allen or DE Jake Bequette.
there will be some good picks in the late rds. RB Cyrus Gray, Vick Ballard, and Brandon Bolden and WR Jarius Wright, Jeff Fuller, and Joe Adams who I hope we get. also known as a PR and RB. scouts said he was slow in the 40 at 4.55 but he plays faster. whoever gets him will be happy.

I like the fact that it adds more competition to the division if he goes. He might only have a few good years left anyways, and they might not ever be as good as they were with Indy.
Looks like the 49ers have been playing coy and held a secretive workout with Manning on Tuesday. Harbaugh and OC Roman were there. Apparently the Niners are genuinely interested and have been for some time, which explains why they haven’t resigned Smith yet. If they get Manning, look out NFC…
Plus, Manning’s gotta like the Niners more than the Broncos or the Cardinals. Better coach, new stadium in two years, best defense he’s ever played with, Vernon Davis, Frank Gore, Moss, and the cap room for a big contract. If the Niners are genuinely interested, he’d be a fool to sign with anyone else.
