News about Mrs. Kerry

Hmmm…

Who exactly is running for office here? Mr. or Mrs. Kerry?

Hopefully this election will be between Mr. Kerry and the current president.

It is well established that Mrs. Kerry has a lot of money. I’d love to see a list of the charities that some of the rich republicans contribute to. I’m sure the list could create just as much of a stir around here.

I can’t believe some people here are suggesting that Laura Bush is some kind of role model. I’ll bet a large portion of the country couldn’t even pick her out of a line up.

She is the epitome of the “good little housewife”. Doesn’t make a peep. From what I understand, most women hate that because, ever since Nancy Reagan, we’ve become accustomed to hearing the First Lady’s voice. Certainly not so with LB.

Reminds me of this political cartoon I saw yesterday showing this big fat suit screaming into his demure wife’s face: "I’M A CONSERVATIVE REPUBLICAN SENATOR WHO JUST LOST THE BATTLE TO SAVE THE SANCTITY OF MARRIAGE!!! NOW WHY DON’T YOU SEE IF YOU CAN’T FIND THE KITCHEN AND MAKE ME SOME DINNER!!!

First, nobody has an obligation to organize their affairs so that they pay more tax than they are required by law. So, if she is following the law who gives a shit what she pays?

Also, about Mrs Kerry… who the fuck really cares? She could be Cruella for all I care, what does it matter? Do people cast votes because the prospective first lady is someone they feel closer to? If so, you’ve got more to worry about than you think.

Now, casting votes based on which first lady is better looking… that’s obviously much more important! :stuck_out_tongue:

Now you bring in about George Soros, who he really is: There are things you left out about him… Again website after website tells one about him and what his motives are:

George Soros bet against Polish communism when Solidarity was still underground and against Serbia’s Slobodan Milosevic when he was one of the most feared men in Europe. He bet against the dollar and made “the killing of a lifetime.” Then he bet against the pound and made a bigger one. Now Soros, a storied financial and political speculator, says another of his bets is about to pay off: more than $15 million against President Bush. The Hungarian-born billionaire, who had vowed to spend more if necessary to deny the president re-election, says he’s contributed enough to achieve his goal. Asked by The Washington Post whether he would trade his fortune to beat Bush, he replied, “If someone guaranteed it.” At 73, Soros is the nation’s 28th-richest person, according to Forbes magazine. His admittedly “rabid” opposition to the Iraq war led Fortune to dub him “the world’s angriest billionaire.”

MoveOn Freudian Nazi Ad - Move On.org Funded By Convicted Felon Geroge Soros

Soros envisions a ?global open society,? whose visionary is an atheist and socialist who believes in the redistribution of wealth (Karl Marx).

Billionaire George Soros says he will spend whatever is necessary – just a few million so far, but more coming – to defeat Bush.
After the United States invaded Iraq, he commissioned studies on what he could do to beat Bush. He was told it still was possible for unions, companies and wealthy individuals to pump soft money into the presidential campaign through groups called “527s,” named for the section of the tax code that regulates them. They could work against Bush but could not coordinate activities directly with the political parties.

Soros believed 527s could help balance the GOP’s advantage in fundraising. Otherwise, the Democrats faced a rerun of 2000, when an impoverished Gore campaign had to lie low all spring while the better-financed Bush forces built up a lead.

Last summer Soros invited some leaders of several liberal 527 groups to his house on Long Island to outline their plans. Since then he has given or pledged $10 million to America Coming Together, $2.6 million to the MoveOn.org Voter Fund and $3 million to the Center for American Progress, a think tank founded by former Clinton chief of staff John Podesta. All of them working against Bush, though not directly with the Democratic Party.

Where others saw a GOP runaway, Soros saw a horse race. “I stood up and took a stance at a time when very few people did,” he says. “I was a kind of rallying cry.”

David Magleby, a Brigham Young University expert on groups that try to influence elections, agrees. “Soros breathed life and funds into what has become a well-developed array of new groups tailor-made to operate under the new rules,” he says. And Soros did it openly, almost defiantly. “He was a beacon for the old Democratic soft money,” Magleby says. “Soros put the new groups in business. He set up the storefront.”

Then there’s George Soros, who compared Israel to Nazi Germany and President George Bush to the Nazis. Soros later denied comparing Bush to the Nazis, saying he had merely said Bush reminded him of "the Germans.

It is the central focus of my life,? Mr Soros said. The 2004 presidential race, he said, is ?a matter of life and death?.

And…I found an article, dated back in 1998… YEars before Bush became President, and while Clinton was still President…

This is who George Soros is…

Lets go back and see how charitable the Kerries really are Lumpy…To legitimate charities.

In 1991 and 1995 (the year of the OK City Bombing when donations to the Red Cross poured in) Kerry had incomes of $113,857 and 126,179 respectively. In those two years, Kerry donated a whopping total of, drum roll please - $0 total to charity …And this is well documented too…

From 1992-1994 he gave a whopping total of $3,044. Which means that from 1991-1995 John Kerry gave a paltry total of $11.66 per month

Now this is before John Kerry married Mrs. Kerry, which occurred in 1996.We don’t know how much Mrs. Heinz-Kerry gives to charity because she still refuses to release her tax records But under pressure he had to release his charitable contibutions. For the record, Kerry’s charitable contributions in recent years ? from 1999 to 2003 ? have been far higher. In his 2003 federal return, Kerry reported charitable donations of $43,735 on a total income of $395,338. In 2002, Kerry made charitable contributions of $18,600 on a total income of $144,091. In 2001, Kerry gave $22,370 to charity on a total income of $137,499. In 2000, he gave $19,221 on a total income of $137,012. And in 1999, he contributed $21,955 to charity on a total income of $140,928.

They also file seperate tax files…But Mrs. kerry refuses to have hers disclosed.

And you say Ramsey Clarke NEVER said he like to give defense to Saddam Hussien? Well., This is from the Islam Online .net

Ex-U.S. Attorney General Ready To Defend Saddam

CAIRO, December 15 (IslamOnline.net) ? Former U.S. Attorney General Ramsy Clarke expressed readiness Sunday, December 14, to act as defense lawyer for ousted Iraqi president Saddam Hussein, with western analysts suspecting the captured leader would be given fair trial.

“Certainly, why not. I am ready to act in his defense,” Clarke told IslamOnline.net shortly after the U.S. confirmed the detention of Saddam near Tikrit.

Clarke, currently in Cairo to attend a two-day international anti-occupation conference, stressed that Saddam ? however brutal ? should be give a “fair, objective and impartial trial”.

“Saddam must be domestically prosecuted first and - if this fails - he should be referred to an international court,” said the former American official, known for his staunch opposition to the U.S.-led invasion and occupation of Iraq

Now going back to Mrs Hienz…
…years between 1995-2001 she gave more than $4 million to an organization called the Tides Foundation. They support numerous antiwar groups, Ramsey Clark’s International Action Center…
NOW if you LIKE to go to this website of the International Action Center.
This is what they are going to do…

"We propose that on Thursday, August 26, 2004, a few days before the Republican National Convention and the nomination of the major accused war criminal George W. Bush to again run for the presidency of the United States, that we hold a hearing regarding U.S. war crimes in New York City within minutes of the convention hall. The latest murderous U.S. military operations in Iraq against the city of Falluja and the uprising of the Mehdi Army have made this initiative even more urgent than before.

The main goal of this hearing will be to bring reporters and reports from Iraq tribunal hearings that have done such painstaking work gathering and presenting evidence to highlight the results of these prior hearings on U.S. soil.
This effort in the U.S. is in harmony with the tremendous efforts internationally – in Turkey, Belgium, Germany, Japan, Denmark, Spain, and other countries, and including the scheduled hearing on May 8 in New York City – to hold War Crimes Tribunal hearings to examine the crimes of the U.S.-British aggression against the Iraqi people and occupation of Iraq, or to otherwise bring international charges against Washington and its allies as has been attempted in Britain and Belgium…"

The Tides Foundation supports the Council for American-Islamic Relations (CAIR), whose leaders are known to have close ties to the terrorist group, Hamas. They support the National Lawyers Guild, organized as a communist front during the Cold War era. One of their attorneys, Lynne Stewart, has been arrested for helping a client, Sheikh Omar Abdel Rahman, communicate with terror cells in Egypt. He is the convicted mastermind of the 1993 World Trade Center bombing.

CAIR?s affinity for terrorist causes is well documented in the press. At a 1994 meeting at Barry University, Nihad Awad stated succinctly, ?I am a supporter of the Hamas movement.? Communications Director Ibrahim Hooper has defended Saudi Arabia?s financial aid to families of Palestinian suicide bombers. In recent months, three CAIR officials were indicted on terrorism-related charges.

While detail checking the federal indictment of eleven Islamist terrorism suspects, ACAIR researchers have found a link between *Mr. Randall Royer and Al Qaeda. On page 15 of the indictment, it is charged that ?On or about April 4, 2001, at the residence of IBRAHAM AHMED AL-HAMDI in Alexandria, Virginia, a visitor representing the Benevolence International Foundation (BIF) discussed a Mujahideen camp in Bosnia with Nabil T. Garbieh and other conspirators.? The indictment continues: ?On or about April 4, 2001, at the residence of IBRAHAM AHMED AL-HAMDI in Alexandria, Virginia, Nabil T. Garbieh and other conspirators watched videos depicting Mujahideen engaged in Jihad.? In plain language, the government is alleging that the BIF, an Islamist terrorist supporting organization, held an organized meeting with the conspirators for the purpose of watching videos of Islamist terrorists in action.

You’re not supposed to drop the dumbbells on your head, buddy.

Can you read? I’m not convinced that you can.

You’re attempts to sling mud on Kerry and Soros are weak… pathetic!

As I said, try doing a Google search on Richard Mellon Scaife and then Google search on George Soros. Who gives more money to partisan causes? Who is a hate monger and who is a philanthropist?

You cut and pasted a bunch of crap about George Soros in your post from Free Republic. Maybe I can dig up some articles from Mother Jones, to add some counterbalance to your Free Republic posts?

Since Richard Mellon Scaife used to fund Free Republic (former home of Ann Coulter), I wonder if it chafes you to hear him described as a Hate Monger.

Hey if the shoe fits, kick yourself with it.

Ok Lumpy, what you said I do not appreciate. YOU do not see in one post, me calling anyone names, or making statements without backing them up. Nor do I refer to someone as being stupid, or calling people names. ANd all you do time and time again is lash out, attack, call people names, without giving any reasons why… I have told you time and time again. If you disagree with what I am saying or anyone for that matter. Show the proof! Want to see the websites. The articles. I spend the morning going through both democratic and Republican websites. Or comments people say. And then I back up with what they say with facts, to reinforce what I am saying.
And yet you even criticize those views and opinions. Saying I do not know what I am talking about. Or that is a bunch of hogwash. WHen I have a degree in History, worked with 3 Presidental campaings, and even worked with our Democratic Gov. Bob Casey from PA. for is election!! Yes Lumpy I have voted Democratic…

I have been very reasonable with you, and try to do some very thought provoking postings. And I back up with what I say with websites. And most of these websites, you criticize, or lash out at. Or probably never even went to. Or never went in and did some investigating as to why is he saying this… When one posts something as to what I post, I go and research it. Do you see me criticizng an of the websites you post? Or calling John Kerry or his wife names? And all you do is attack after attack. I see it from posting after posting…

One thing people do in these forums is they forget about the other person on the other sid eof the keyboard. How they will feel when one makes this posting.

Joe

Mrs. Kerry is a powderkeg. Never know when she will explode. Or what she will say. And this is being reported now too on many different websites and newspapers.

TERESA TELLS REPORTER TO ‘SHOVE IT’

Teresa Heinz Kerry, wife of Democratic nominee John Kerry, told a reporter to ‘shove it’ on Sunday evening – immediately after giving a speech calling for a more civil tone in politics.

Speaking to the Pennsylvanian delegation at the statehouse in Boston, Heinz Kerry delivered an impassioned plea against hate politics:

“We need to turn back some of the creeping, un-Pennsylvanian and sometimes un-American traits that are coming into some of our politics.”

“My prayers for you, for me, for the country, for the world, are that we keep this at a high level, with dignity, with respect and with a great idealism and courage that took our forefathers to build this great nation.”

According to multiple sources who attended the event, Heinz Kerry upon finishing the speech pushed her way through the Secret Service to get to Pittsburgh Tribune Review reporter, Colin McNickle. Upon getting to Mcnickle, Heinz Kerry asks, ‘Are you from the Tribune Review’ Mcnickle says, ‘Yes, I am.’

At this point and in an irritated fashion Heinz Kerry says, ‘Of course, understandable. You said something I didnt say. Now Shove it!’

Tape of the incident is being edited to air on Pittsburgh’s WTAE-TV, and, according to a media source, ABC NEWS is set to run with it thereafter.

A witness of the incident said reporters were “stunned” by Heinz Kerry’s outburst, especially in light of the speech she had just given.

This is thee link if you want to see this for yourself…

Joe

It was especially odd given the point of her speech just minutes before, but I have to admit - anytime I see someone tell reporters to ‘shove it’ or somesuch, I have to salute that individual.

Perhaps Mrs. Heinz-Kerry is certifiably insane, and maybe she was wrong, but I can’t pretend part of me didn’t think it good for politics.

Joe, do you need me to explain to you why this is Comedy Gold?

Also, about your sources… David Bossie, The Heritage Foundation, and so on. They range from far-right (Heritage Foundation) to extremely far-right-to-the-kook-level (Bossie). Why don’t you just cite Michael Savage, and make it a Grand Slam? What’s he think about Mrs Kerry?

Try to pick at least a semi-unbiased source of information to attack Mrs Kerry, and people will take your posts more seriously. I don’t insult your sensibilities by referring you to articles by far-left sources and websites, so maybe you could return the courtesy?

Well, “shove it” is a lot more civil than the infamous “fuck you” used by the Dickster.

Anyway, given the sources you quote, the whole story isn’t being given. A few keys points are being left out… and for one, I too have to salute someone who isn’t going to be bullied or cornered by the media.

Lumpy… Why do you criticize almost EVERY single website I post on this site? Saying oh that one is too far right. Or that one is too Conservative. You are only giving us lies…You are making no sense!! As I told you, so so many times, if you see something different post it! Share with us the websites that you go to. Or we should be going to. Since you do not like any sites I or so many of us go to. When many of the websites are saying the same exact thing…Enlighten us Lumpy, if you say many of us do not know what we are talking about? Share with us the list of all the websites we should be going to…Inquiring minds like to know.

Ms Kerry admitted she said it last night…and in an interview with katie couric…what are you loony libs complaining about. It happened.

Of course it happened. Nobody said it didn’t happen. AND I LOVE IT.

Boy, I didn’t think T-Men would be freaked out by a strong, opinonated, outspoken woman. But they say a lot of guys lift weights to compensate for their insecurity, though.

Mrs Kerry’s first husband was a Republican. Back then she was never attacked as being too outspoken, too rich, too exotic, etc.

After her husband died in the plane crash, senior Republicans urged Mrs Kerry to run for Congress!

But now that Mrs Kerry plays for the other team, all of a sudden the GOP she’s weird, she’s too outspoken, she talks funny, etc, according to the attack dogs.

Too bad the GOP can’t campaign on Bush’s record and his platform, so they are reduced to attacking the candidate’s wife!

I think Kerry’s wife is pretty cool…and Im a libertarian who has to vote Republican. Blows your idea out of the water Lympy. She looks good for 60+ and I like her no holds barred style. And I don’t mind Cheney’s comment either. And neither do I mind John F’in Kerrys wording in Rolling Stone.
Actually I prefer John"whythelongface?"Kerry monikar!

It’s not the “Shove it” comment that makes her look crazy. It is her denial of saying “un-American” during her speech. The reporter asked her what she meant by “un-American” and she denied saying it and flipped out like a harpy.

I think this woman is kind of nutty. I don’t mean as a democrat. I mean as a person. I think she will cost Kerry a lot of votes.

You don’t have to like the first lady but she has to be tolerable. Mrs. Kerry is arrogant and self centered. She has the sense of arrogance only the truly wealthy can get away with. Contrast that with Laura Bush who is genteel and polite and alturstic.

I saw the video of her un-american comment. I mean what is she denying she said? Peter Jennings interviewed her the next day. It doesn’t get much more liberal then he is. He showed the video to her and then asked her about it and she still denied she said it. wtf?

Her daughters are HOT!
