Hey all, new to the forum. I've decided to get back into shape. I was fat, weak and lazy after I got out of the Army and after a very painful wake up call involving a fire alarm at work, I decided to try the 5/3/1 program. I've been on it for the last couple months and I am thoroughly impressed. My joints have also gotten less painful when walking on stairs. My current lifts are at Squat: 345, Deadlift: 325, Bench: 230 and Strict Overhead Press:135.
