New to Finasteride: Problem or Paranoia?

Ok, again - thanks for the discussion guys. So obviously scary sounding stuff and hard to read after taking a weeks worth of these pills.

I’m left wondering ‘can you get PFS after only a few pills (4 or 5 days in may case versus a few years of use)?’ It’s not been possible for me to find any definitive answer despite my extensive internet searching…

In fact I put some of systemlord’s “Finasteride is Poison” words in the search window and it lead me back to a previous thread that he posted here on Tnation

Testosterone Mixed with Finasteride?

Hi… hopefully someone can help. I’m about to start T therapy. I have been taking finesteride for a year for hair loss which is relatively successful. I’m 46 years old, and my question is, can test and finesteride be taken at the same time? It blocks dht which contributes to hair loss. Would it block the Test, and convert it to estrogen, and in fact contribute to the hair loss problem? Any help would be appreciated! Thank you

This is another thread that loudly decries the safety of Finasteride, but without explaining where the information is from or how to learn more. All nightmare no knowledge. Wondering systemlord if you could offer any more context - and what know of medical background there is as you seem to have a very strong sense of this issue.
