New to Fat Burners

I never took fat burners but I’d like to try them.

I’m also aware I just don’t know anything about this supplement I only suspect they are extremely stimulating since all the caffeine,yerba mate,taurine they have…

How should I use this supplement?
and what should I check in the label when buying one.

I’m a beginner and my goal is to loose these few pounds I can’t get rid of…I know that good nutrition is the only way,but maybe a fat burner could help a bit…

Well, I’ll tell you what. I’ve used HOT-ROX Extreme before and the 2 pills/2x a day protocol can be pretty Extreme. The stuff works. I tolerate 1 pill/2x a day better, for whatever reason.

Also, like the Hierarchy of Fat loss article stated yesterday and from things that I’ve read from (I think it was) Berrardi, don’t stay on a fat burner for too long and give your fat loss goal a 28-day run for its money. With HOT-ROX Extreme, I think the max dosage happens to nicely work out to about 28 days, if I’m not mistaken.

So, start with 1 pill/2x a day and then increase it if you can handle it. Working out or running could make you nauseous if you take 2 at once and are unprepared…

Good info. One should always start with the minimum dose of a new supplement to assess tolerance and let the body acclimate to it.

OP if you, as you already eluded to, formulate a good plan in the way of nutrition and exercise any of the HOT-ROX formulas will greatly accelerate fat loss and increase the overall amount of fat lost during your program.

Hot-Rox Extreme is effective and strong. At 225ibs. I take 2 in the morning on an empty stomach. I take another at noon and another about 4 pm.

I’m dropping about a pound per week on a carb restricted diet with about an 800cal./day caloric deficit. This followed a 15 week bulker.

I take my morning caps as soon as I get up. Takes about 10 mins to kick in and I am usally ready to go!! Try not to eat for at least an hour to get the full effect after taking Hot-Rox.

Fat burners are great to improve a) your looks and b) phyiscal performance, especially if you need it for a sport which requires you to be agile/fast and still strong.

The appeal of these products are ofcourse the speed at which they help you drop the pounds. Who wouldnt choose to just pop two (or more) pills a day rather than slave at cardio, calorie counting and carb/protein ratios for several more weeks!?

However, you should be careful (as dedicated pointed out) for the effects they have on your body. Ephedrine (banned in the US i think?!) causes devastating effects on your heart. The constricted blood vessels (also due to Tyramine) causes high blood pressuse (sometimes up by more than 30mmgh).

It’s important also not to be folled by so called natural fat burners with “Citrus Aurantium” or something like that because that’s just the latin name (i think) for synephrine, a similar product to Ephedrine…

Basically, sorry for the rushed response but i gotta run, make sure that you have a healthy blood pressure, you have no particular sensitivity to stimulants and also perhaps to see if you have any familar history of cardiac malfunctions/disease.

Well it depends on which one you take… usually one serving in the morning and one pre work out (or afternoon). With HOT-ROX and other products they usually recommend taking them on an empty stomach, but do read the label!

Hmm thanks for info about not eating right away after taking HOT-ROX, I have started taking them for few days and usualy eat about 10 min after taking them will try to avoid this now.

Actually it’s just as good to take HOT-ROX with food as with empty stomach. The research was done with empty stomach simply for reasons of eliminating potential variables, but in practice there’s no difference and absorption will be as good with food.

I’ve noticed a little acid indigestion with HOT-ROX Extreme if I take it on an empty stomach. Nothing major, but I prefer to take it with food. I never did notice this with the Max Strength HOT-ROX though.

Definitaly start with the minimum dosage. I have never taken a fat burner before…until yesterday. I just took a HOT-ROX and it was intense. It made me really thirsty so I would recommend carrying around more water than usual. But as for the the intense feeling you should probably adjust after a few doses.

On a side note, I have never paid so much attention in class before. Also, I had one of the best workouts I have had in a while. I set a new PR on bench and weighted pull-ups. I have no basis for comparison but I think with HOT-ROX you get your moneys worth as opposed to other fat burners.
